I honestly don’t know where I would be without this place, and without all of you. It’s been… everything to me, as have all of you been. It’s possible that this may be temporary, who knows, but it’s been. So, at least for the time being, Belvedere Roleplay is closed. It is for this reason, with Belv at the lowest activity week in it’s lifespan, I make the painful decision to close it’s doors.
But I also can’t properly express how gravely it pains me to let Belvedere fade into nothing. I can’t… even begin to express what it means to me. You have all showed such dedication, and such love and I have to bless your hearts for how much you’ve supported me in all of this. Though I know our lives change and move at constantly varying speeds, I believe that the dying of the flame here is not for lack of loyalty, or interest, but rather a combination of lives being busy and the asylum portion of Belvedere simply approaching the end of it’s lifespan.
It’s been nearly two long years of magic, growth and passion, and as I’ve said, I’ve put far too much of my own heart and soul into this place to simply watch it wither away. So, with an entire long weekend of next to no activity, and 95 percent of our members being inactive all week, I think it’s time for me to say goodbye to this portion of our adventure together. I still have quite a bit of work together, but you are now welcome to watch it come together, and I’ll be contacting all of you shortly with questions/clarifications about the adaptations of your characters, as well as reaching out for your ideas and input.Īlso, anyone who has not expressed interest in coming over to the RP, please do so ASAP, so I can start working on your content! I think it goes without saying that I’m incredibly excited for this new leg of our journey together, and thrilled at the idea of getting to know new applicants and roleplayers! Official Applications are not open right now, but I will be posting about them as soon as I can, once I get a few more things pulled together on the site.Īs promised, the new RP is coming together quite nicely. This is actually something I’ll encourage.Īlso bear in mind that the FC directory is very incomplete right now, so for the time being, take it with a grain of salt as I’m just kind of adding to it as I’m working on the movement of bios. Know also that it’s an option to bring them both, but only introduce one at a time, to keep it from being too overwhelming at the beginning. I’m mostly working on one character for each of you, unless you’ve specifically talked to me about taking two over, so please let me know if you know for sure you want to take more than one character with you. Those of you moving over from Belv, keep in mind that your characters are in good hands, as I’m working to transfer them all over, and I have plans for all of them. Once I have a few more things done, I’ll be reaching out to you guys for input/idea submissions etc. Some of them I’m sure will be answered as more pages get filled and posted, but your questions will help me to identify things I perhaps haven’t addressed yet.

So, stay tuned for things like details on the Echo Database, the Locations and Floorplans of the Colony, and please free to leave your questions with me, and I can answer them as I go. With that being said, there are many things I’ll be looking to members for their input on, because I want the Colony to be about your guys’ innovative ideas, not just mine.
There are certain aspects of this RP that will likely continue to grow and be added to as time goes on ( The Games, the continuing technology etc etc) and there are also a few pages which I’ve simply not gotten all the information up yet.
